Our New Gift Shop is Now Open.

On Saturday 14th November 2009 we opened our New Gift Shop in the village of Birstall,

We are very pleased with our little village gift shop.

We had a great opening day, even though the weather was terrible, we had lots of customers and friends visiting us on our special day, and all expressed their delight in our new shop,

We our very proud of ourselves with how quickly we made it all happen, from deciding to go for it at the end of September to getting the keys on the 28th October, and in just over 2 weeks we made it happen,

we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped and supported us during the stressfull setting up period,

We are feeling very positive about our future with now trading both online and through our shop,

Decision Made :-)

well we've made our decision and we've decided to go for it!

we now have the difficult task of getting everything sorted,

we have so much to do!

we will be changing our business/trading name so will no longer be heavenlyjewellery, we know what our new shop will be called but it's a secret for now ;-) there will obviously be a new address too and the good news will be that we will beable to allow collections for your orders no more ordering online only.

the fun now begins as we need to fit the shop out and wow how expensive are shop fittings, it's a mine field trying to work out what regulations there are and what we must have in place,

you would think there was a dummies guide to opening a shop wouldn't you? but no I cannot find anything,

i'm really excited about our future and know moving to larger premises is going to help our business grow it will also mean we can expand our stock range too,

hopefully we are going to be in for the beginning of November ready for the manic Christmas period (yes we are bonkers!)

to open a retail shop or not?

Heavenly Jewellery are having a dilemma!

we have the opportunity to open retail shop, a very scary thing to do in the current climate I hear you say,

we have done our sums, etc and know we can make it work, but suppose it's the commitment that's the scary thing,

we know from feedback from our customers that you would love us to do this, as you would be able to see and our great range in front of you and not just in photos online,

along with the shop we plan to re brand and redesign the website, increase our range of stock

are we mad to contemplate this??

we will update you all on our final decision very soon, watch this space.......an exciting new gift store could be opening it's doors before Christmas :-)
