It’s true what they say, once you’ve tried a Yankee candle you’re hooked. I know I certainly am, when I go home in the evenings the first thing I do is light a Yankee candle, my current favourite being Black Cherry with its yummy fruity scent, I love it so much I currently have the black cherry diffuser in my bathroom this means the gorgeous scent hits me as soon as I open the bathroom door.

A little bit of information about Yankee Candle
From Humble Beginnings to America’s favourite premium brand of candle
It started in December 1969. Michael Kitteredge was sixteen, and had a big problem with just days to go before Christmas, and with very little money he tried to think of gift ideas when inspiration struck. He gathered up his childhood crayons and found an empty milk container. Melting them in a pot on the kitchen stove, he poured the hot liquid into the carton and added a wick "borrowed" from a candle in the dining room. Also adding the broken bits of wax from that ill-fated dinner candle. Several hours later, his first candle sat proudly on the kitchen table.
A visiting neighbour admired it and asked if he’d sell it to her. With the, money she paid him he bought enough wax to make two candles - one for his mom as a Christmas gift, and another to sell. This was the beginning of Yankee Candle
